HELP CENTER

DO I NEED A DOCTOR’S REFERRAL?

We accept, GP and Consultant referrals but we also accept self referral.  With your permission we may contact your GP/ referring medic to optimise your management.

WHAT TYPES OF HEALTH INSURANCE DO YOU ACCEPT?

As Chartered Physiotherapists we are accepted by all insurance company's. Check out your cover and plan to find out if your are covered for Physiotherapy services.  Once seen we will provide you with a receipt, upon payment, which you can submit to your health insurance provider for reimbursement.   Reimbursement will depend on the type of plan that you are on.

WHAT IS YOUR NEW PATIENT PROCEDURE?

New patients  are booked in for 45 minutes with one of our chartered physiotherapists.  This initial session encompasses a clinical evaluation that details the history behind your presenting problem  and a physical clinical examination.  At the end of this assessment the physiotherapist will discuss future management and provide you with the information necessary to manage your problem and book you in for subsequent treatment and follow up if necessary.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED ?

There is no standard answer, each presentation and person is individual and no two problems will present the same.  The Physiotherapist will assess and examine you on the initial visit and at the end of this a plan will be put in place which may result in one or more follow up visits, referral for further investigations or simply a tailored programme and future follow up.  This plan can only be made post initial examination.
